Harbor High School Practice Schedule
Week of March 18th through March 22nd.


Snap Raise Fundraising Campaign. Bring your Email list to practice on Monday 

Monday: Everyone meet at the track and field bleachers for team meeting. 
Everyone: Warm up, form drills and team stretching
Sprinters: 100 meter runoff for 4X1 relay team. Top 4 finishers will work on relay passes for Thursday meet.
Sprinters:  6 X 200. Come through 100m at 15 seconds, 200m at 29 seconds from blocks
Horizontal Jumpers: Get your runway mark. Triple jump drills length of runway (5X), 1 - 3 - 5 drills (5X), 6 full jumps into pit both LJ and TJ, Skippy Hills (4X)
300 meter hurdlers and 1/4 milers: 4 X 400. Come through 200m at 30 seconds, 300m at 45 seconds 400m at 60 sec
Everyone: Upper body weight room

Throwers: 30 throws discus, 30 throws shot, Upper body weights - 10X deadlifts + power clean lift, bench press 10 minute cycle. No Nevin

Vaulters: 8 X 30 yard pole runs/plants, Inversion drills over low bar. Upper body weights include hanging crunches (Bubkas) and pull-ups, handstands. With Bob

High Jumpers: 4 step take off - H Jumps into pit with crossbar. Upper body weights

Tuesday
: Everyone meet at the track with your respective coach.
Everyone: Warm up, form drills and team stretching.
Relay Teams: Baton passes in zones.
Sprinters: Skippy Hills X 10 with tethers. !0 x 40m starts out of blocks
Horizontal Jumpers: Runway mark work. TJ bounding drills length of runway (5X), If pits are dry: 6 full jumps into pit both LJ and TJ.
High Hurdlers: Full flight of hurdles (4X) out of blocks, 6 X Skippy Hills with tethers
300m Hurdlers:,Full flight of hurdles (4X) out of blocks. 6 X Skippy Hills with tethers

Throwers: 30 throws discus, 30 throws shot, lower body squats 6X 80 - 90%, medicine ball chest pass, clean jerk 10X cycle 10 minutes. With Nevin

Vaulters: , 3 step pole plants / inversion swing, Lower body weights - include high squats, leg extensions, standing calf extensions. With Nevin

High Jumpers: Full approach - take off, lower body weights - include high squats, leg extensions, standing calf extensions.

Wednesday:
 
Everyone meet at track and field bleachers for team meeting. 

Everyone: Warm up, form drills and team stretching.
Relay Teams: Baton passes in zones
Sprinters: Block work - minimal 6 X 50 meters
300 Hurdlers: Out of blocks through first two hurdles 6 X
High Hurdlers: Out of blocks over first 4 hurdles 6 X
Horizontal jumpers: Runway mark work. If pits are dry: Pop ups over hurdle

Throwers: !5 discus throws, 15 shot put, 1/2 mile jog, throws 15X @ 75% No Nevin

Vaulters: 30 yd pole carry/plant drills on track (10X), 4 step plants into pit, upper body weights - include hanging crunches (Bubkas) and pull-ups. No Bob

High Jumpers: Low lunge strides (20 yds X 10), curve approach - hurdle over bungie onto pit, upper body weights. With Nevin

ThursdayEveryone meet at Track at 2:45pm for Home Meet against Aptos High School.                                            
Friday: Everyone meet in bleachers at the track.

Afternoon Distance workouts will be led by Assistant Coach Omar Ruiz Monday-Friday 3:00pm, main track
