To register your student, please follow the steps below:
STEP 1: Determine your School of Attendance

If Harbor High School is not your designated school or if your home address is not listed in the boundary book, please see the Intradistrict/Interdistrict Transfer tab located under the Registration/ Enrollment tab for more information.
STEP 2: Register your Student
Returning Students
Students who are returning to the district (Santa Cruz City Schools) or who have a sibling in the district, please contact Harbor High's counseling office at 831-429-3810 ext. 1048 for information on how to register your student.
New Students
All students new to the district must register online.

Please fill out form to set your school of attendance.

You will receive an access code to create your Illuminate Parent Portal. If you do not receive an email within 10 minutes, please check your spam folder or contact Harbor High’s counseling office.

Registration Please wait to receive registration forms from Harbor High School. Forms will be sent through your Illuminate Parent Portal. This can take multiple days to arrive. Please complete them once you receive them.
STEP 3: Submit Required Documents
Registration cannot be approved until we have all required documents. To finalize your student’s registration, you must provide the following to Harbor High’s counseling office:
- Copy of Birth Certificate
- Copy of current Immunization Records that include:
- Polio: 4 doses (3 doses if at least one polio were given after 2nd birthday)
- DPT: 5 doses (4 doses if at least one DTP or DT/Td were given after 4th birthday)
- Tdap booster given on or after 7th birthday for grades 7-12 only
- MMR: 2 doses (both doses must be given on or after 1st birthday)
- Hepatitis B: 3 doses (2 doses of the 2-dose hepatitis B vaccine formulation and both doses were received at age 11–15 years will also fulfill this requirement.)
- Varicella: 1 dose or documentation of disease. (For children 13–17 years old, 2 doses are needed if vaccine received after 13th birthday)
- Proof of Address:
Copy of PG&E bill, water/garbage bill, or rental agreement that includes utility bills
- Copy of High School Transcript or Latest Progress Report
Not applicable to B40 and Shoreline Middle School
- Copy of current IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
