The battle for the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League girls volleyball title is going down to the wire.

Harbor High knocked off league leading Soquel 26-28, 14-25, 25-22, 26-24, 15-9 on Tuesday night in Soquel to create a three-way tie atop the standings. Aptos (11-9, 7-2), Harbor (16-7, 7-2) and Soquel (13-7, 7-2) share the league lead. 

Senior outside hitter Emily Patz led the Pirates with 22 kills and 10 digs. Senior setter Carly Ditz had 38 assists, 12 digs and three aces, sophomore outside hitter Olive Hess had 15 kills and 14 digs, and senior libero Emily Melvin had 18 digs and three aces.

Sam Strah had 28 kills, 29 digs and two aces for the Knights. Ciara Cantlen added 14 kills and 27 digs.

Sam Werdmuller made 38 assists, Kylee Eze had six kills and three blocks, and Renee Parker had three kills and four blocks.
